Our Evolution

The AscentChange International Five-Year Strategic Plan (2024-2029) outlines the organization’s roadmap to significantly enhance the impact of its programs across Sub-Saharan Africa. The plan focuses on empowering youth with the necessary skills for job market readiness, entrepreneurship, and higher education. It sets ambitious goals to achieve substantial outcomes in education, employment, and business creation, aiming to transform 50% of its participants’ lives within an 8-month program duration.

There is a global challenge of making the youth more productive and successful. To help realize this through quality education, employment and entrepreneurship, AscentChange International is impacting communities by improving teaching and learning in educational institutions through mentorship, training and capacity building, and facilitating access to necessary resources. We focus on boosting the vulnerable and marginalized youth to acquire life skills, knowledge and experiences for competitiveness and selfish-reliance post school. From the Kenya’s rural and urban regions to Africa and beyond, the organization’s tailored programs positions it to play a leading role in positively shaping the future of many.

As a Co-founder of AscentChange International, I am passionate about empowering young individuals and communities to realize their full potential and drive positive change. I envision a vibrant community where young people harness their talents to build thriving local and global economies. With the belief that sustainable change begins with investing in people, especially young leaders, through holistic mentorship, skills-building workshops, and collaborative community projects, I am committed to igniting the potential in every youth through quality education, entrepreneurship training, employability and championing environmental conservation efforts. Our tailored mentorship programs bridge the educational gaps, hands-on capacity-building workshops boost employability, and community-driven initiatives aid in addressing local challenges, contributing to sustainable development.
